It introduces the recommendation spot around the hot spring of Akiu.
The movement by the car is the most convenient.
But if it is a place within ten minutes, the movement by the bicycle is also pleasant. (The bicycle is lent out free of charge in the reception desk lobby.)
AKIU GREAT FALLS
It takes some 25min. by car from IWANUMAYA.
The greaceful waterfall at Akiu, 6meters wide and 55-meters high, ranks among the three great waterfalls of Japan.
RAIRAIKYO GORGE
It takes some 10min. by foot from IWANUMAYA.
A beautiful canyon 20 meters deep, stretches approximately 1km centering around the Nozokibashi Bridge at the mouth of Akiu hot springs. A path alongside the gorge makes it easy to stroll through the area.
AKIU KOGEI-NO-SATO
It takes some 15min. by foot, 5min. by car from Iwanumaya.
Japanese traditional craft products are displayed and sold here in the village.
AKIU SATO CENTER
It takes some 7min. by foot, 1min. by car from Iwanumaya.
You can easily get the information of AKIU area inclusive of Akiu hot-springs resort in there.

SENDAI KALEIDOSCOPES ART MUSEUM
It takes some 30min. by foot, 5min. by car from IWANUMAYA.
This is the first Kaleidoscopes Art Museum in the world and you and your family can enjoy those Kaleidoscopes very much. For example the big one can be watched with family at the same time. Let's jump into the small world! Open throughout the year.

AKIU COUNTRY CLUB
It takes some 3min. by car from IWANUMAYA.
It is convenient for you to play the golf at Akiu Contry Club because of its situation. We have a golf and stay discount package between them.
MICHINOKU MORI-NO-KOHAN PARK
It is 20 minutes in the car from IWANUMAYA.
Because it is a government-run park, the admission fee is very cheap.
It can enjoy the day when the weather is good during a day in the family.
The lending play equipment like a sports kite and a huge ball, etc. is abundant and absolutely recommended in the family of the child taking, too. The stroller and the wheelchair are lent.
